Early life and education

Born in Odisha, Satpathi grew up with a strong foundation in spiritual and cultural education. She trained extensively in classical music, Odia poetics, and the interpretation of Puranic texts, developing the oratorical skills required for Pala.

Career

Satpathi has been performing professionally for decades, traveling across Odisha to perform at major religious and cultural festivals. She leads a traditional troupe, often collaborating with well-known Bayakas like Niranjan Behera. Her style is known for its deep philosophical insights and engaging comedic timing. Her repertoire covers vast themes from the Puranas and societal morals.
